Job Details:
- Weekly Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Shifts
- First Shift - Hours: 7 AM to 1 PM or 10 AM to 3 PM
Second Shift - Hours: 4 PM to 11 PM
Job Summary:
- As a Restaurant Server, you are the face of the restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences.
- You need to be knowledgeable about our menu items, attentive to our guests' needs, and committed to providing a high-quality dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet guests and present them with the menu.
- Inform customers about the day’s specials.
- Take food and beverage orders and make recommendations if requested.
- Order Management:
- Input orders into the point-of-sale system accurately.
- Serve food and drink orders to guests.
- Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation.
- Operational Tasks:
- Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary dining area.
- Assist in the kitchen or with the dishwashing if needed.
- Payment Processing:
- Issue bills and accept payment.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other staff to ensure a smooth operation.
- Assist other team members when needed to enhance the dining experience.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a server is preferred but not necessary.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and computer skills.
Skills:
- A friendly, outgoing personality.
- Customer service orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
- High attention to detail.
Work Environment:
- The role involves standing for long periods and may require working on weekends and holidays.
